Privacy

Paris Vue (parisvue.com) is a small personal project by Pavel Zhironkin. You can browse the whole site without an account. This page says what we keep if you choose to sign in, and what we keep if you do not.

If you sign in with Google

We receive from Google and store:

We use them only to recognise you, show your name and picture in the corner of the page, and keep your balance of francs, your history of francs, your votes and your gifts to Rodaine. We never see your Google password. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers and do not use it for advertising or profiling. Your e-mail is not shown to other visitors; gifts to Rodaine are counted in total and are not shown by name.

To keep you signed in we set one cookie, pv_s (secure, HttpOnly, 30 days). Only a hash of its value is stored on our side. “Sign out” deletes the session. The Google sign-in script (accounts.google.com) is loaded only when you open the sign-in menu.

If you do not sign in

Voting ♥ / ✕ on Rodaine’s works sets a random cookie rv and stores a short-lived hash of your IP address and browser string, only to count one vote per person. The hash cannot be turned back into your address. Weather comes from Open-Meteo, and fonts from Google Fonts, requested by your browser.

Where it lives

The site runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database, KV storage). Cloudflare processes requests and keeps technical logs as part of running the service.

Deleting your data

To delete your account and everything stored about it, or to ask what is stored, write to paulzhironkin@gmail.com (the site owner). You can also revoke the access at any time in your Google account settings.

Children: the site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
